Faithful adaptations of an antique sampler and lovely floral (the antique is on perforated paper) in my personal collection. Stitched and presented together they create a soft vignette perfect for a bookshelf or little nook. Both are aida friendly, with no specialty stitches or over one.
Stitched on 40ct linen: Picture This Plus 'Bramble' (1 thread over 2) with cottons from Classic Colorworks (Chopped Chives, Licorice Red, Old Money); Gentle Art (Chamomile, Lagoon, Mustard Seed) & Weeks Dye Works (Hibiscus, Red Pear, Sand). A custom DMC conversion is provided.
