Faithful adaptation of an antique sampler in my personal collection.
I've been a bookworm since I was a child, and as soon as I saw the verse, I knew I had to have this lovely sampler. Charted to include over one verse and name as seen on the antique, an over two alternate for the verse and name are provided making this an aida friendly project.
Stitched on 40ct linen: Weeks Dye Works 'Beige' (1 thread over 2) with cottons from Classic Colorworks (Chocolate Cream Pie, Colonial Rose, Ginger Snap, Gingerbread, Licorice Red, Nighty Night, Onion Skin, Peanut Brittle); Gentle Art (Green Pasture, Harvest Basket, Maple Syrup, Midnight, Pine) & Weeks Dye Works (Blue Heron, Garrison Green, Glacial Melt, Swamp Water). A custom DMC conversion is provided.
